Euricoma longifolia jack is a valuable medicinal plant with a great economic value, widely distributed in Vietnam. In the wild, this species is heavily exploited, which has caused the area and reserves to drastically shrink. This paper presents the results of a research on breeding techniques of Euricoma longifolia from seeds, carried out at the Tropical Forest Research Centre (TFRC). The findings demonstrated that there was a substantial relationship between the survival rate, growth of the root diameter, and height of the seedlings at the early stage, and the composition of the potting media, the size of the potting bag, the shade regime, and the fertilization regime. The best results were obtained in a nursery where the potting soil composition was 100% topsoil, 50% shade, 15 × 18 cm potting size, and soaking manure fertilization regime.
