This study focus on CO2 absorptive capacity of Cunninghamia lanceolata Hook plantation in Lao Cai which provided a basic line for payment of environmental services on general plantation and special reforestation CDM. This study was conducted at four different level plantation at 5, 7, 9 and 11 yearolds. Field surveys, standard samples and field standards tree analysis were conducted to collect data in the fields. Then, the samples were analysed in laboratory. Results showed that total fresh biomass and dry biomass for the plantation of 5, 7, 9 and 11 yearolds are concentrated mostly in parts of the trunk, then the scene twigs, and the lowest parts of leaves. The total carbon accumulation is 4.001 tones C/ha at the plantation of 5 yearolds, 10.039 tones C/ha at the plantation of 7 yearolds, 14.762 tones C/ha at the plantation of 9 yearolds and 19.564 tones C/ha at the plantation of 11 yearolds. The CO2 absorb ability is 3.009 tones/ha at the plantation of 5 yearolds, 5.581 tones/ha at the plantation of 7 yearolds, 6.167 tones/ha at the plantation of 9 yearolds and 6.687 tones/ha at the plantation of 11 yearolds.
