Bamboo formwork technology improvement for its quality enhancing

At present bamboo formply is being used in many construction works. This product is made of Dendrocalamus barbatus and phenol formaldehyde adhesive under the imported technology from China. But the bamboo formwork product has unstable and low quality and its properties are not met production requirements. Explain for these reasons, there are many
theories such as: To reduce the cost, some technical requirements of bamboo formwork production are not applied correctly and so on. On the other hand, we copy Chinese technology but the Dendrocalamus barbatus properties is quite different with Chinese bamboo. This study determined
some problems impact on the bamboo formwork quality and propose the innovative technology. Following this technology, the bamboo formwork quality is improved. For example: Its density and MoR are increased to 64.8% and 109% respectively; but the swelling of thickness and MoE are reduced to 4% and 9.2% respectively.
