Melientha suavis Pierre belongs to Opiliaceae family. This is native plant with high economic value, leaves and flowers are used as food. In addition, leaves and roots used for medicine making. The research was conducted in Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang. The results of research on some physiological characteristics of seeds: Size of seed is 13.3 - 16,1 mm in width; 26.0 - 30.1 mm in length; 1kg of seeds: 197 - 208 seed; seed purity: 91.5%; seed germination: 87.3%; seed energy: 39.7%; water content in seed: 37.7%; seeds begin to germinate in 22th day after sowing; terminate germination in 35th day after sowing. The best container component for Melientha suavis Pierre is 95% topsoil + 5% microbiological organic fertilizer. The 50% shading formula is best for seedlings growing in the nursery stage in all measured parameters.
