EVALUATION IN FOREST AND FOREST LAND MANAGEMENT BY PEOPLE'S COMMITTEES OF COMMUNES IN LUC NAM DISTRICT, BAC GIANG PROVINCE

Abstract

The forest area and forest land managed by the People's Committees of communes (PCC) in Luc Nam,
Bac Giang province is 1417.07ha. This area is distributed in three communes: 500ha in Luc Son
Commune, 767.07ha in Nghia Phuong commune, 150ha in Cam Ly commune. Forest area and forest
land managed by the commune People's Committee of Nam Luc is currently poor natural forests with
low yield and bare land belonging to status Ia, Ib, Ic. Management measures are mainly the work of
advocating for people, play beach ban deforestation, ... in collaboration with the Inter-sectoral
delegation of the District shall inspect and brush and prevent violations, encroachment, deforestation,
illegal logging,... There is no forest development activities applied so far, thus the quality of the forest is
not improved. Funding support for the activities of forest management and protection of forest land is
taken from 661 projects, support from management board of Suoi Mo ecotourism, western management
conservation in Yen Tu
