DESIGN CALCULATION, CONTROL CIRCUIT AND PLC PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT FOR A 10-TON/BATCH WOOD ADHESIVE DOSING MODULE

This paper presents the results of the design calculation, control circuit design, and PLC control program development for a 10-ton-per-batch wood adhesive metering module. Based on the technological requirements of an industrial wood adhesive production line, the study determined the principal design parameters of the metering module, including a 2,000 kg weighing system equipped with four 1,000 kg load cells, a 20 m³/h adhesive transfer pump, a DN50 electrically actuated ball valve, and a Siemens S7-1200 PLC-based control system integrated with a Human-Machine Interface (HMI). The structural design of the metering module wastablished, the control signal circuit was designed, the sequential control algorithm was developed, and the PLC program architecture was structured for the automatic discharge and metering of adhesive from the synthesis reactor to 1,000 L intermediate storage tanks. The research results provide a scientific and technical basis for the fabrication, integration, and further improvement of the wood adhesive metering module in an industrial-scale production line.
