Publication Ethics

The Journal of Forestry Science’s ethics policy follows the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE’s guidelines, https://publicationethics.org/guidance/Guidelines), promoting integrity in peer-reviewed academic publications. The policy clarifies the ethical conduct of all parties involved in the publication of a paper in the journal: including authors, editors, editorial board, and reviewers. The policy is consistent with the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (specifically available here https://publicationethics.org/files/u2/Best_Practice.pdf ) and the COPE Guidelines on Good Publication Practice (specifically available here https://publicationethics.org/files/u7141/1999pdf13.pdf ), including: Reviewing manuscripts; Plagiarism; Submitting manuscripts to multiple journals and splitting content; Intentional citations; Falsification and editing of data and figures; Copyright and acknowledgements; Conflict of interest; Sanctions; Investigations; Corrections and withdrawals of manuscripts.
